TIER 2 (Customer and Supplier)
Customer Reporting
Customers interested in having International Paper provide Tier 2 spend to them should send the request to us via email to ipsupplierdiversity@ipaper.com. We provide “Indirect Tier 2” spend to our customers in the following two formats:
- International Paper’s Generic Tier 2 Form
- Online reporting tools utilized by the customer
As you can imagine, with a company our size and a matching customer base, it is near impossible for us to report “Indirect Tier 2” spend in all the different formats and/or forms requested by our customers.

Tier 2 Initiative (Supplier Reporting)
Select prime Tier 1 suppliers are invited to participate in our Supplier Diversity Tier 2 initiative. The Tier 2 initiative serves as an enhancement to our existing supplier diversity efforts focused on increasing meaningful opportunities for diverse suppliers to participate as prime suppliers. We expect prime Tier 1 suppliers' support of programs that reflect the needs of our company as we continue looking for ways to maximize sourcing opportunities for qualified diverse suppliers.
