To maintain the high level of quality you have come to expect from IP, we have established a Quality Assurance Program designed to ensure consistent product performance and enhanced customer experience.
World-Class Manufacturing, Research & Development Our world-class manufacturing facilitates use state-of-the-art technology to develop and produce innovative papers for today’s high tech equipment. Our Corporate Technology Group consists of scientists who search the world for new technologies which can be applied to our products. Our engineers are consistently striving to assure that IP products are the leaders in quality and runnability.
Product Evaluation Prior to any new product introduction, the technicians in the International Paper Erie Resource Center Media Evaluation Lab (ERC) analyze and test each manufacturing run to verify that it will perform up to our standards. The lab verifies internal mill physical testing such as basis weight, moisture, caliper, smoothness, and many others In addition, the ERC has over 50 models of copiers (monochrome and color), laser printers, and inkjet printers which represent the latest technology. Following stringent testing procedures, which assure consistency, the papers are evaluated to assure trouble-free runnability and superior image quality.
Imaging Guarantee Most International Paper imaging papers have an Electronic Imaging Guarantee assuring the item will be replaced if it does not perform as expected in your equipment. This is yet another way International Paper stands behind its products and delivers hassle-free document production. Manufacturing Consistency To sustain the level of quality throughout the manufacturing process of each paper grade, the Media Evaluation Lab sets up benchmarks. Twice annually, round robin tests ensure all facilities are operating within specification, and are reporting accurate test results.
Customer Support Our commitment to quality does not end when products are shipped from our manufacturing locations. International Paper has a customer service support desk and Web site to address customer questions and comments relating to the use of each product. The customer service hotline is staffed by paper experts with many years of experience in the paper industry.
Consumer Response Service Center If you have a product questions or issue, the International Paper Consumer Response Service Center (CRSC -1.800.242.2148) will answer your question or address your concern in a professional and timeline manner. Depending on the nature and complexity of the concern, CRSC will either resolve the issue itself or involve a Customer Technical Service Representative to pinpoint the exact cause of the problem, on site, at your workplace location.
