Shorewood Packaging, a business of International Paper, introduces the J2 into its portfolio of disc packaging solutions. This sleek new design features two innovative slide-out disc trays that lock in place once opened, yet easily slide back in.
The J2 is a versatile package that is available in three styles for CDs and DVDs. There are 5 inch CD and 7 inch DVD style packages, each of which contains two standard clear plastic trays to hold two discs. The third style is a DVD-size package that includes a Pozzoli tray, making it an ideal choice for four-disc collections.
"The J2 is an interesting alternative for customers to package CDs and DVDs," said Greg Chup, product development manager for Shorewood Packaging. "By providing innovative packaging designs for our customers, we are giving them different options to help their products stand out among consumers."
The J2 offers brand marketers at the music labels, film studios and game developers an expansive canvas for album or feature notes, exciting graphics and promotional messages. All three J2 packages are available with paperboard slip cases that provide even more billboard space.
