Packaging Development Center

Centered On Customers
Our Packaging Development Center
(PDC) demonstrates our continuing commitment to our customers through technology and service. In close collaboration with our customers, the PDC staff is focused on creating new and improved packaging and packaging materials, finding applications for existing packaging and supporting customer use of current products.
Centered Geographically
Located in the Greater Cincinnati area, our PDC is geographically central to the majority of our U.S. customers, enhancing our ability to expedite research and results. 200 experts work together here to fulfill our mission of providing customers with superior packaging solutions.
Centered on Technology
Our PDC is the largest research development and testing facility of its kind. Using customer input, research, 3-D modeling, sophisticated performance laboratories and realistic testing environments, we address your current packaging needs and try to anticipate any future packaging needs.
Centered on Reality
For those customers concerned with barrier packaging, the PDC has every type of oxygen, moisture vapor and aroma barrier technology available. Our packaging evaluation group is a world leader in the overall technology of distribution testing and end-use evaluation. Sensor devices are used to record everything you would encounter in actual transportation conditions from temperature to drop heights.
 Centered on Ideas
Our Packaging Development Center is also a valuable testing resource for you. Try new designs, shapes, promotional concepts and prototypes. Test new coatings, holograms, specialty inks or special attachments. If you can think it, we can make it. And with our 3-D modeling system, you can leave the PDC with working samples of your new ideas.
