Texarkana Mill
Located at the crossroads of three states, Texarkana, Texas, is home to the Texarkana Mill. Although the Texarkana Mill produces bleached board for packaging, milk cartons, hot and cold drink cupstock and folding cartons, the mill is known for its community involvement as well. Through the International Paper Company Foundation and on behalf of volunteer work by employees, the Texarkana Mill donates a considerable sum annually to schools, nonprofit organizations and other charitable groups in the Ark-La-Tex area.

Environment
International Paper has invested millions of dollars in environmental protection equipment at the Texarkana Mill. As a result, the mill was the first pulp and paper facility in the state of Texas to participate in Clean Industries 2000—a voluntary environmental impact reduction and prevention program sponsored by the Governor and the Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission. We also exercise environmental efficiency by producing electricity and recycling water in-house. Every year, International Paper plants three new trees for every one we harvest. In an industry that relies on nature, International Paper strives daily to respect and protect our resources.
